National No Smoking Day

Image for National No Smoking Day

National No Smoking day originated in The Republic of Ireland, originally on Ash Wednesday. The day was started as a way to get people to give up smoking during the Christian holiday of Lent. The World Health Organization (WHO), says that half of tobacco users will die from smoking related illnesses, with 8 million people passing away each year from tobacco use.

Here at Somerville Gardens we take the health and well being of our residents seriously. Our properties are all "No Smoking", meaning that residents are not allowed to smoke inside of the building, including apartments and common amenity spaces.
